This poem is an invite from @Jeanetvanomme from the Netherlands for poets to post videos on Instagram in something called Poems and Portraits. Due to the pandemic and the Border closing between the US and Canada, I selected my poem Foreign Paradox written several years ago when I was feeling the challenges of dual residency in these two very large and very different North American countries that to the outside observer seem so similar.
