The challenge: South Surrey was filled with artists, but no ‘hub district’ to cross-pollinate. The construction of a labyrinth sparked the idea to devise a contemporary art cabaret evening to explore the concept: InVision: a happening for the new labyrinth with sound, image, movement, and words. The mixed arts collaboration for the event hatched VG PlayRoom - an incubator of creativity and several artist-led, community-driven projects and events.
