Series of several sets of standing stones in north south alignment through the pastures in the glen, Bronze Age.

One of our group had a pedometer that counted 12,000 steps we walked through various Bronze Age sites in one day. All were within four miles from our Hotel in Kilmartin. There are hundreds of sites, the largest grouping in Europe. There is also a very fine museum. The combination of pastoral and woodland settings was magnificent. Often sheep were grazing and lying down against the stones.
